We are in India! Skipping Pakistan, we arrive in New Delhi and get accustomed with a culture that has some resemblance and, at the same time, has so many new things in store for us. After spending a few days in the busy streets of the Capital we make our 16-hour-journey to Rajasthan, the north-western province of India and the home of many ancient tales about long gone kingdoms, gods and the desert. We wander through the golden (and pretty touristy) streets of Jaisalmer. And then we are up for the next highlight on our journey: A camelride to the desert and a night under the stars. Absolute silence surrounds us, disturbed only be the chewing-sounds of our desert-taxis and the occasional visit of hungry but very cautious (photo-shy!) foxes.
